ABOUT ME
I'm a Toronto-based Canadian-Nigerian artist who employs charcoal, graphite and indian ink to create art. While I have primarily drawn using traditional media since I was a child, I began exploring digital art in 2015, creating ethereal images with Procreate and Photoshop.

My work vividly captures the essence of my experiences, dreams, and emotions. Rooted in my Nigerian upbringing, I explore themes of identity, beauty, and the human condition through the lens of Africanity.
With some of my collections (e.g. 'Float'), I reflect on the complexities of my own journey and provide viewers with a window into my childhood memories, adult experiences and the collective stories of my community.

Photorealism is at the heart of my work, and I enjoy the challenge of maintaining its presence even as I vary my technique and approach. My work ranges from simple black-and-white sketches to colorful, vibrant images.
